When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and credit card/payment details. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you your membership card and welcome information
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
Your credit/debit card information are not retained when you make a payment for a membership without creating a personal account.
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders. We do not store your credit card information on this website. If you create an account and input payment information, that is stored for future payments by WooCommerce, the platform that we use for payments. Your payment information is secure and we do not have access to that information.
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for three years. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses. If you elect not to renew your membership after that time period, we will delete your information. You can always re-join at any time.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. Only the club secretary and treasurer can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
Who we share your data with
Your personal information is not shared with anyone outside of the Wellsville Rod & Gun Club. A current membership list is posted on the club bulletin board next to the club entrance. That list of current members contains only the members name, category of membership and city and state of residence. No street addresses, email addresses or phone numbers are included on that posting.
