This year our raffle is offering three prizes. The first prize is a Savage 110 Apex Storm XP with a Vortex 3X9 scope in 7mm-08. Spring Trout Stocking
Trout stocking is ongoing from March until May in Western New York. If you are interested in assisting with this process, you can view the current stocking schedules for Western NY counties here. For specific times and locations to meet the stocking truck, contact NYSDC Fisheries at 716-372-0645.
Speaking of Trout, Are you Interested in Learning to Fly Fish?
The Wellsville Rod & Gun Club will be conducting some Fly Fishing Seminars this Spring and Summer. The schedule has not yet been determined, so watch this page and our Calendar of Events for specific dates and times.
These sessions will include the basics for beginners. Fly fishing equipment will be explained. Common knots used in joining fly lines and leaders, and attaching flies will be covered. The all -important techniques for fly casting will be explained, demonstrated and practiced. Some basics of stream insects and fly imitations will be covered.
Best of all, these seminars will be free. We will provide the equipment necessary, and lunch and drinks will also be provided. So, if you want to get started in fly-fishing, join us at one of the seminars. Watch for further details.
Free Trap Shooting Seminar
On Sunday, June 2nd, Certified Firearms Instructor, Ric McEnroe will be conducting a free trap shooting seminar at the club. Ric’s courses are very popular and have helped many shooters improve their techniques and their scores. All the information is on the poster below. Call to pre-register and ask any questions that you might have on the course.

The Range is Available
The range is available. Please check the Calendar of Events prior to proceeding to the range. The range is closed when the facility is rented or there is and event scheduled. Please abide by the range rules and clean up your casings and targets.
If your membership is not current, please visit our membership page to join or renew your membership in order to be eligible to use the range.
Regular Monthly Meetings
From April to November, our regular meetings will take place at our clubhouse on Weidrick Road. They will take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm. From December through March, the meetings will take place at the Wellsville Fire Department on South Main Street.
