The Wellsville Rod and Gun Club hosts a free trap shooting seminar several times each year. The course is conducted by certified instructor Ric McEnroe and attendees are guaranteed to improve their shooting skills.
The course begins with classroom instruction that focuses on firearm safety, proper form, sight picture, and shooting stance.
Instruction then moves to the trap range, where the participants have the opportunity to practice using the techniques presented by Instructor McEnroe.
Safety is further emphasized before any activity on the range.
Demonstrations of proper stance, hold and follow through.
Participants then have the opportunity to shoot clay targets and receive individual coaching to improve their technique.
After the lunch provided by the Rod & Gun Club, the class participants shoot the standard trap course.
From past participants, the course is very beneficial. It is an enjoyable experience for all involved and everyone can benefit from the expertise and experience of their instructor, Ric McEnroe.
